Awards and Commendations

Department students are awarded commendations for their performance. Specifically, the following commendations are awarded:

A. Commendations to first-year undergraduate students: The three students admitted to the undergraduate program of the Department with the highest number of total points are awarded at the welcome event for first-year       students.

B. Commendations to top undergraduate students: From the academic year 2022-2023, by decision of the Assembly of the Department, commendations are awarded to the top students for their performance in the courses of       the 1^st & 2^nd semesters, the 3^rd & 4^th semesters, the 5^th & 6^th semesters, and the 7^th & 8^th semesters, respectively. These commendations are awarded to students who achieved the highest grade point average in the courses         of  the winter and spring semesters. The commendations are awarded by the Chair of the Department at a special ceremony organized by the Department during the academic year.
