On Monday, November 10, 2025, the Doctoral Award Ceremony of the Department of Agriculture, Crop Production and Rural Environment of the School of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Thessaly took place.

The PhDs, who were announced during the meeting of the Assembly of the Department of Agriculture, Crop Production and Rural Environment of the School of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Thessaly by the President of the Department, Professor Nikolaos Katsoulas, in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Economic and Administrative Affairs of the University of Thessaly, Professor Panagiotis Plageras and the Dean of the School of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Thessaly, Professor Dimitrios Vafeidis and members of the Assembly of the Department, were:

-Grammenou Aspasia (PhD thesis at the Laboratory of Soil Science, Supervisor: Antoniadis Vassilios, Professor)

-Dimopoulou Maria (PhD thesis at the Laboratory of Food Technology, Quality Control and Food Safety, Supervisor: Gortzi Olga, Professor)

-Papadogiorgou Georgia (PhD thesis at the Laboratory of Entomology and Agricultural Zoology, Supervisor: Papadopoulos Nikolaos, Professor)

-Polyzos Nikolaos (PhD thesis at the Laboratory of Horticultural Crops, Supervisor: Petropoulos Spyridon, Professor)
